Vast Improvement

I am really keen to improve my nail art technique as soon as I can and I have to say that I feel far more confident after my most recent attempt. I still don't have the right tools (I'm relying on artists acrylic brushes) but I found that I had a steadier hand and better ideas due to the forward planning that I did. The ideas are all still a bit random but I would really like to hear your feedback (positive and negative). Also if you have any requests then I would be more than happy to give those a go. I'm game for anything, so the stranger the better.

    1. That one came about by accident but I really like it now. It started off as a cupcake but then I saw the little faces (without the hair) somewhere on another nail blog and I decided to make my own version. It reminds me of Aunt Sophia from the Golden Girls (an 80s programme that I used to watch with my grandma).

Thanks for looking at my post. I'm going to add some more art over the weekend so please check back.

    1. Aww you sweetie, thank you so much! I love your blog, especially the eye makeup with the gold line underneath the eye. I wish I could do that, but when it comes to eyes I'm hopeless. x

  7. These are great! And totally feel you on the skills/getting better front -- practice makes perfect and all that, right? I use the MASH brush set a lot, I think Amazon as 'em for pretty cheap.

  8. I know I totally agree. You can get inspiration from so many amazing bloggers but the practice is so important. You also find your preferred style once you have a go. Thanks for the tip on the brushes, I will def give those a try.
